We normally love this place, but today was weird. We always get a footlong sandwich made by the nice ladies in the deli, and eat it inside the store. Today we got in line behind two ladies who were having a sandwich made, mustard and pickles on bread, a tall young kid with glasses making the sandwich looking angry. The two ladies said something to him, he didn't respond then they said "nevermind" and walked away. "Good luck with him" they told us. He just stood there looking mad for a moment, then he looked up at us, I asked if they had tuna today for a sandwich (I always ask this before filling out the paper) He looked at us, scooped up the partially made sandwich from the two ladies and stormed into the back. Then another lady who'd been standing next to him writing something on a clipboard asked if we had a question. I asked if they had tuna for a footlong, she said yes. I said "oh good, can you make it for us and not that guy?" She said "I'm doing something" then went back to her clipboard. We just stood there awkwardly, then finally walked away. She could've said "I'll be with you in just a moment" or called someone else. Very disappointing compared to the excell

Foodland Farms Pearl City is by far one of the best Foodlands on the island. They have a huge selection of ready made food and several food stations to get food. The store is well thought out and always clean and new looking. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. There is also a High Steaks restaurant located within the store also, which is super convenient.

First impressions: absolutely love this place. Texas has HEB, Hawaii has Foodland. The poke is delicious. They have a wonderful selection of fresh made food and groceries. Also enjoy the fact my husband and I can have a drink at the bar and watch hockey.

The food bar offers a great variety of meat options, along with plenty of sides and different dressings to choose from. There is something for everyone, whether you prefer lighter options or something more filling. I especially appreciate the selection because it allows you to mix and match depending on what you’re craving that day. On Fridays, they offer half price per pound, which is definitely a great deal. However, because of that promotion, it becomes extremely busy. The checkout lines can get very long, and the wait time during peak hours can be overwhelming. If you are in a hurry or don’t like crowded spaces, Fridays might not be the best day to visit unless you go very early. The staff is always friendly, cordial, and professional. Even when it’s packed and hectic, they remain polite and helpful, which I truly appreciate. Customer service makes a big difference, especially in high traffic situations. The location is very close to me, which is convenient. However, I don’t go as often as I could because during peak times it feels overcrowded and the wait is just too long for my preference. Great place for supermarket and food-to-go needs. Has regular groceries, a bar area, and a good amount of food choices. Bargain items can vary depending on the clearance or the season - large pumpkins, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies (delicious), etc. if you’re pressed for time and want ready food, this is the place to go. Tried the mini bento items. The grilled chicken and rice with umiboshi was great! The salmon belly set was equally good with its sauce. Tried their 40-piece, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookie (discounted rate) pack. Worth it with the soft and chewy texture. There are lots of sweets and a decent amount of cakes inside. The cashier area had eco bags for sale. The ready and cooked meals often had customers buying food in line. Parking is free.
